In 1982, plastic modeling company Lindberg manufactured a model kit of the USS HOLT, kit number 1813.

Jeff Cope came upon the model in 1987 when he was starting to get serious into plastic modeling and couldn't help but build the kit as his first serious model since his father, Glenn Cope, served on the ship. The kit is very basic but he found as much research materials at the time to make it possible to add much more detail to the model. Here are photos of the completed model and Jeff presenting the model to his father.
